    I spent an hour at a local parrot nesting site in the middle of my town, next to a large shopping complex. We always have parrots nesting, small, large etc. All times of the year. It is one of the best sites known!

    It was already late, I had no patience for tripod etc, so I shot handheld. 30D, 300/4 + 1.4x, ISO1000, f/5.6, 1/30th, this Rainbow Lorikeet was nesting in a hollow about 8 feet from the ground.

    Just gave it some topaz. and a little crop. and NR, :D

    Akos, I love the colorful Lorikeets you have there. Nice HA and details!! Love the effect,and the eye looks great!!

    Hi Akos, Very pretty bird! The filter accentuated the detail and color which made for a very pleasing image...

    Ákos, I like this a lot!! The Topazed version looks like the bird is carved out of the same wood as the perch and then painted! Very cool...

    Wow, I love what topaz did to the feathers, I can't have that ptrogram either because my main Mac is not Intel :(
