    ISO 400, f/6.3 @ 1/3200, Auto Exposure, Av, +1/3EV

small crop off the left side, and I added canvas to the right (I couldn't keep up with them!), no other mods

I'd appreciate comments on whether the direction of light is an issue here, as well as whether the fact that the birds overlap adds or detracts from the composition. Of course, all suggestions and comments are welcome.

    Thanks,

Mate, I like it full stop. Especially that you caught them at the saddle in the hills.
    Cheers, Jay

    Nice capture Ron,
I love the sweet soft light...the wing details are superb, I only wish that the birds were not merged as they are...looking forward to your next one...

Ron, beautiful, beautiful . . . but I also would prefer the birds not overlap as they do.

Wow, I can't believe how you were able to capture them both in the exact same pose! Like the comp and lighting. One beautiful image, Ron!!!

I like it a lot...I don't have a problem with the birds merged. Especially when they are both sharp and in focus. To me it is very refreshing to see a picture that does not fit the normal mode.

Excellent Ron - Nice work!! Can see the argument for more seperation between the birds - but I like this as well.
Sharp as a Tack and excellent details - Big congrats :)

Thanks to everyone for the feedback and comments. Once again it's interesting to see our personal preferences about what makes an image successful.
