    Hey Dave,
    The dark green/almost black BG really make this stand out. What really sets this apart is the position of the 3 buds and the different stages of bloom.....really lead you around the frame nicely. Very nicely done!

    Dave, I like the way the buds frame the rose also. Really beautiful colored rose that really stands out against the BG! Nicely done.

    Very nice composition, very nicely handled. I too like the way the buds frame the flower. Maybe a little bit more room all around.

    Beautiful shot as mentioned. I think it could be sharpened a bit though. I also think this one could looks great in b&w.

    I love your flowers, Dave, and this one is no exception. I'm goig to have to try flowers at that aperture, I tend to go the other way, but I like your approach.
