Nice job with the perch/BG/ and position. Not sure on the color saturation...reds lok close......but I do love thier vibrance. Only recommendation here is to eliminate the top yellowish blob with either a crop or patch.....you got some nice DOF with that G10 at only f4.5!
Agree with Roman Might tone down just a bit btw those guys in our area are so difficult to approach .. don't think I've got one keeper !!!
If they cooperate keep waiting for a slight different wing position ... sometimes they will surprise you !!!
You bet is way cool !!!! Sure looks like the one we have !!! Interesting just about all are sort of approachable at one time except the red !!! .... we call it the evil dragonfly !!!! :)
Nice composition, detail and background. The yellow at the top doesn't bother me that much. The red seems unreal but then I have never seen one of these guys.

Nice detail in the head and tail. As mentioned, wish for the left wing not to be on the way. Love the repost, btw.
