    “Summer Tempest”

    This exotic lady was painted with a Nikon D300, using a Nikkor 105mm f/2.8D IF-ED macro lens, and a 20mm extension tube.

    Image Solution:
    focal length @ 105mm / exposure mode @ aperture priority / in camera matrix metering / 1/125sec. - f/22 / exposure comp @ -0.7EV / ISO @ 400 / white balance @ custom profile, using an Expo disk for color calibration / AF - Mode @ manual / color space @ sRGB / lighting solution – ambient lighting with reflector panel positioned at a 40 degree angle, and corresponding diffuser panel placed at a 90 degree angle from the bottom / tone comp @ +1 degree / hue adjustment @ +1 degree / saturation factor @ +1 degree / support platform - tripod assist, with macro focusing rail, and remote electronic trigger release /

    Nice image Gus. I might have move the camera slightly to the left to get more of the front pedal and have the dark petal line by your signature intersect the LR corner. But as is it's still great.

    Gus, I really was attracted to the light area down inside the flower, as well as the texture overall, and as I'm sitting here with my head tilted sideways, I also think it might work very well as a vertical. Nice one!! Oh, yeah, I agree with Harold too, you just keep on cranking out sweet images, one after another. Thanks for sharing them with us.
