I have had a good year so far for mating Lions.

Here is another, these two were less co-operative than those in CKGR, as they kept hiding behind bushes.

Taken in Lebala, Kwando Concession, Northern Botswana

    Ken,
You are having a terrific year, as far as mating lion shots are concerned. You were pretty close. How about using a fish eye lens nex time. ;)

    What is CKGR?

    Cheers,

Ken, Really great moment captured. The open mouth and expression is fantastic. The female's submissive look to him really adds so much to this great interaction. Nicely done.

Wonderful timing Ken. Love the comp too. So, no fish eye lenses? Cracking stuff.

Nicely framed by the bushes. Expressions on the faces and the tensed muscles capture the intensity of the moment well.

Nice comp, and excellent moment captured in this typically snarly affair. Well done, Ken.
