    Wow... cool shot.. eye level and contact makes this.. loved the details too.. would suggest some room around and some sharpening on the face... congrats

    Nice exposure and details. I also like the background colors in the shot as they complement the bird nicely.

    Nice background. Exposure looks good to as I see details in the light and dark areas. Good head angle. My only wish would have been that the far wing would have been raised a bit more so that there was some separation between the wing and head. Although I do think it is darn nice as presented. Thanks for sharing.

    Very very lovely, you pulled some exquisite detail from this bird. Wonderful eye contact and I love the BG. I would also like more room all around the bird and some more sharpening of his head. Congrats

    Wonderful shot Dave. Took the liberty to work on this a bit. Just love what you are showing and thought to give it some TLC. (Luminosity sharpened, polished, some selective sharpening on head, and some burning on head and wings. Canvas added... bit subjective, but hope you like).

    Repost works better IMO and even a little more USM would be nice I think. Nice pose, sepcies, BG and detail.
