    Great crested grebe Podiceps cristatus, young


    Canon 5D, Canon 500mm + 1.4 TC, ISO 400, 1/1000, f10, handheld
    PP: no crop, shadows, colours, contrast, sharpness, noice reduction.

    We usually see waterfowl sleeping with their heads tucked in backwards, so this is different. I just wish it wasn't so tight at left. I would also patch out the little twig (?) peeking in the frame bottom center.
