    Bill, I love the HK. The diagonal perch adds interest and I like the comp even though it's tight. I'm sure some will suggest a crop above your sig. to remove the small branch-not me. Your effect looks good. One small spot on bottom left .Well done.

    Hi Bill, Very nice use of the effect and the HK. I feel the image is nicely placed all around but I would clone out the small branch on the bottom. Very well done

    Nice image.

    As noted, tight crop. I would normally like to see more on the left and the top to bring the subject down and more into the right 1/3 image area. However, with the Hi-Key, I think this crop works. I can live with the small branch, as it gives support to the nice diagonal limb and adds a second very minor focal point, which in my view is helps with the lack of background.

    Bill, this is beautiful (I love owls). I'm for keeping the stick - I think the whole image is pretty perfect:)
