    Italian wall lizard Podarcis siculus


    Canon 40D, Canon 100mm macro, ISO 400, 1/1000, f8, in the wild, the lizard is about 15 cm long (tail included)
    PP: no crop, contrast, colours, sharpness, noice reduction

    Hi Milan,
    Eue and most of the face are sharp but I may have sacrificed some SS for a bit more DOF.....that would have affected the BG though which at this f-stop is very nice. I often find I bracket f-stops....to see which turns out best if possible.
    Still very nicely done on this small little creature!

    Great low angle and eye contact !! Good adice regarding bracketing f-stops Not its easier than using the dof preview button !!! Excellent image !!

    I like this one a lot, great light, plenty of detail and killer eye contact.
