Taken on a recent trip to Galapagos. Low light on the subject, flash not allowed. I had to try to pull detail out of a dark exposure. Canon 40D, 100-400 MM Lens, hand held. f8, 1/1000 sec ISO 400.

I like the pose, BG and sharpness and find the bird too tight in the frame. The dark plumage looks a bit blueish on my monitor.

I like the view of the bird. I also agree with Axel's comments. Perhaps a little more room at the bottom and to our right and the blue cast needs to go.

Ditto on the color cast and it does need more room on the bottom.

Color cast and more room on the bottom mentioned. The "pulling of detail" shows on my monitor. I do like the pose and eye detail.

Nice pose and details. In addition to the color cast, noise is readily apparent where you pulled the detail out of the shadows. You might try selectively running Noise Ninja on the shadow areas that you brightened.

Hey Dave, Cool bird. Nice sharp head and eye and I like the angle. Everything else has been said.
