I hope I will be able to witness this in the future. So cool! Love the breach, the dark water colour, the water splash, the comp and the bird add to it. Well done!

Nice to see the birds in frame too. Nice action captured. That water looks choppy! Hope you didn't get seasick! :)

Crikey, that looks real choppy. Love the comp and the addition of the gulls are a nice touch.

Good capture Fabiola - not easy in chop like that. Is this the beginning of a breach or is he spy-hopping?

    Thanks!!!!

Rich, I think it was spy-hoping :) We had a mother and calf and the baby came so close to the Zodiac it became scary. At times, it would go under and pull up on the other side. we kept hoping he new what he was doing :)

Nice image. Wish my Hawaiian Whale watch would have gotten that close. Saw them but for the most part from a distance. Awesome creatures that you will never forget. We just have to try again, as I tell my wife! ;) :D

I love the comp, colors of the ocean and the splash. It conveys the power of the sea and the awsome experience of being close to the humpback. I can almost smell the whales blow. Barnacles and birds add a nice touch too!
