    I quite like the different pose captured here, this is cropped from Horizontal. Taken on an overcast day but the sun just managed to pop out for a couple of minutes.

    The pose is unusual, I do wish for a slightly better HA. That is a great feeling when the sun pops through! Well done mate. :)

    Very nice light Ryan, it is a pity you dont see more of the wings but it is still an interesting pose.
    Just watch the halo starting to show. (Only just)
    You see the beard and eye colour very well in this image.

    I would go with Harshad Ryan..
    amazed with the angle. this works for me though it has little going away direction but the position of bird is very well captured.. congrats man.

    Beautiful one, loved the details and Angle, the head facing a little more towards you would have made it a killer, still a great image, congrats...

    Hey Ryan, now this is an angle not normally captured or posted. I works well, and agree with Dave, that one can see more of the beard.

    Cool image. I love the bg and the light on the vody of the bird. I'm not to wild about the head angle and wing position.

    Its an fantastic capture. The angle makes the bird look much smaller than its actual size. The eye is very captivating.

    Fabulous shot Ryan. Dave is spot on re halo's but they are very minimal and do not detract from this outstanding shot. You have nailed this real good. Even the bg helps with the diagonals. On the money man!!!!!!!

    the light fell just right for this one! HA mentioned but not a bit problem for me since this as a great pose and comp.
