    Default Green Violet Ear

This Green Violet Ear Hummingbird image was taken at the Savegre Lodge in Costa Rica. I set up to include the lavender color in the background. The upper left corner is an out of focus flower. The rest of the color is from other flowers and a rust colored building.

Very beautiful image. The inclusion of the oof lavender color is a good plus.
I might suggest to crop from right a little. Great details and pose.

Nice bird and amazing BG and it is sharp where it counts. I'd place the bird a bit to the right. Very impressive with this flower behind. Congratulations.

Superb image, the colors and detail are excellent and that BG is unreal...I would maybe crop from the right a tad just before the leaves intersect..

The Colors are Brilliant !! Its difficult to say which hue I like :) The green is creating the right balance with the strong BG shades .. in total I loved it !!!

Super pose, with amazing colours. I would also move him over to the right, and maybe selectively sharpen the head. Great capture.

Great work, Keith! I like your comp as is. Colors seem over saturated on my monitor and I think the eye needs sharpening.

Great bird, like it a lot. The BG colors are great. I would tone down the bright edge of the plant.
Also agree with Kiran about extra sharpening of the head.

Keith, like your composition and the way you have used the BG flower colours. Agree with others on the sharpening. The colours seem a bit over saturated.

Very striking Keith! I missed this BG at Savegre; I'll have to look for it next April. Great pose with excellent sharpness. I might back off a few clicks on the saturation.
