    Here's another horse photo from the same civil war reenactment as the last photo I posted. I used the blue channel to convert to B&W, added the sepia tone with color fill layers and a hue/saturation layer, added a little noise, applied a light gaussian blur overlay, and added a vignette. Any C&C are welcome!

    Christopher, The color tones are spot on! I really like the look to this one. Personally I don't think this one needs the vignette. Well done!!

    Well done! Great subject and detail. I like the slightly gritty look adding noise (actually addition of so called noise in image editors is somewhat misleading. Should be (and is in some editors) called film grain. It does add an old time photography style, and combined with a sepia tone really works well. I don't think the vignette is effective here, though the idea is a good one. You would need some sort of elaborate time worn film edges look, short of that I'd leave it out. regards~Bill
