A few years back in the Kalahari of South Africa we were caught in a sandstorm It was a scary sight bearing down on us. The strange color cast is accurate rendition of the lighing conditions as the storm approached. It was very strange..

    Canon 1V, window mount, film?

Impressive sight, robert. Wish I could witness something like that in my lifetime...

Only would get rid of the cropped tree in the left.

Amazing sight. It must have been awe-inspiring to be there. I love the unusual color.

Whoa, that is an impressive sight! I bet it was even more impressive in person. Love the color and light in this one. It's a little soft and could use a bit more USM, though.

Impressive and scary Robert. While I'd like to see something like this in person, I'm not sure I'd be too keen on actually being in front of it. The lighting is pretty dramatic here as well. And its great that you caught the top of the swirl as well. Super!!

Wonderful color. I had thought it a little soft but perhaps this is the way it should be given the atmosphere you have present.

    Well done.

An impressive image Robert with most unusual colours. Must have been an eerie sight!! Also looks like a nightmare for film or sensor!!
