    Default Brant Goose #2

From last Saturday morning, it was very early and the Brant was feeding in the shade of a tree, I waited a few minutes and he turned towards me and stepped into the sunlight. Canon 20D with 200 F/2.8L, F/7.1 @ 1/640 sec, ISO 400, manual exposure.

I like the pose, sharpness and eye contact. The whites on the back look a bit overexposed and I wish for a lower angle.

This "rare" guy sure has been providing us with good opportunities these last few weeks. You may be able to recuperate the hot whites in RAW. I hope this guy sticks around when his primaries are grown back as that will give it some nice dark feathers to cover much of the large white area :-)

Agreed about angle. I'd crop like the attached, just a bit off the top. Nice colors, good work mate. :)
