    Taken at Isola di Capraia Tuscany
    I'm not very convinced about the crop :(
    would like to hear what you think

    Very nice head shot. Like the exposure contorl and colors. May be a bit dark? also shadow region on left bottom corner is kind of iffy for me.

    Strong side light creating shadows in the breast. It's a bit tight in frame, but clean and sharp.

    Shadow nits aside, this really acentuates the red around the yellow eye, and then some. Very intimate shot here. I think if the top head shadow was not there this would be a top kick butt photo.

    Good details here on this white bird in sunlight, well done. Too tight on the crop for me, adding some to the top and left would help. A head turn would make it sing.

    Really like the beautiful eye contact and the wonderful detail around the eye and beak The shadow nits have already been mentioned, I too would prefer to see a little more room in the capture especially at the top. thanks for sharing Dario.

    Nice sharp portrait. For me its quite a bit too tight and the dark BG is not ideal.
