Made this with the last rays of the setting sun.

    Spec: 1/200, F: 7.1, ISO 800, -1/3.

    Canon 40D + 500mm +1.4TC

left the extra space at the bottom as the bird looked too centred. please correct me.

You sure know how to get the best out of your camera. You can get such a clean image at ISO 800 from 40D. If I try it photo will be nothing but colour noise :-(.

I like everything about this, Kiran. The light, the pose and that beautiful red eye. I like the extra space under the bird too. It does look like maybe there was some small amount of work done below the tail. I would clean that up a little more. Very nice!

I like the angle, sharpness, pose, eye contact and BG. I would only tone down the highlights more.

Stunning light, and what the perfect pose. The comp works well Kiran, and love that eye. I also think the smooth BG completes this fine image. Well captured.

THis one really leaps off the monitor! Great light, colors, and detail, plus an interesting pose. The setting sun reflected in his eye is a nice touch, too.

Your repost is the work of a master. Well done mate! What stunning light and pose and razor sharp! One of my fave raptors. Which species of Elanus would this be?

    Thanks for sharing Bhai! :)

Kiran-bhai, I am late to the party but this is way killer: light, pose, BKGR, the look-back HA, and the repost are all fabulous. I even like the slightly drooped wings.
