    Default Juvenile Female American Redstart

I posted another image of this young lady in the ID forum and learned that she is a juvenile female American Redstart. I thought I would post a second image - perhaps better here. She was at our feeder last weekend.

1DMK2 with 500 and 1.4 TC. Evaluative metering at ISO 800 with EV - 2/3 and f5.6 and 1/250 in late afternoon light. It is quite a large crop 50%.

    Thanks for looking. C&C welcome.

We have a lot of Redstarts around here and I agree on the id. Pretty little female with a nice BG.
I think it could be a little sharper.

I think your point of critical sharpness is on the shoulders and not the head. Still must be special to get it ID-d and photographed. Nice clean BG though I see a little noise. THanks for sharing. :) Sorry, forgot to harp on about the broken perch. :D Just being hard. Sorry. :)

Great species to capture. Tough perch and it does seem a bit soft.
