    Only Americans?

Lists are always subjective thoughts, but I can´t imagine that a list similiar to this one would look the same over here in Europe...sorry, but haven´t there crept in some bias in this list as it would in any list made in any country in the rest of the world!

But lists are fine with me...it makes me discover new (and old) nature photographers, and that is good for the inspiration.

BTW...congrats to Artie for the listing.

    Congrats Partner!
If you don't believe Artie is influential, just talk to him. He will influence to believe he is.

Congratulations maestro - a well deserved honor. Not only do you have the ability to take outstanding photos but also have the time and patience to convey your knowledge to others such as you do on BPN. We appreciate it greatly!

    Mike,

    So was I!

But I must admit it would be nice to know what people here thought and perhaps have a poll on Landscape, WildLife and Birds.

Definitely the name should be Top 10 Most Influential AMERICAN Nature Photographers of All-Time. Of course we have heard some of those mentioned, but I can assure that we have also INFLUENTIAL and international nature photographers (in Europe but also in the rest of the world). Well, it depends which side of the pond you live...

Congrats Arthur, I have read many of your writings here and elsewere.

The names are only one mans opinion. It's akin to having a sports argument with the drunk on the stool next to you at the bar.

Congrats Mr. Morris for being mentioned though.
