Here's my latest image of water drops :) Found these ones on a black-eyed susan petal. Any and all feedback would be most appreciated!

Hi Christopher, I like the way you handled the yellow here - good work keeping the saturation down! Like the magnifying effect of the drop on the far left and the lens effect making bright spots under the drops. Might only suggest a bit of NR on the bg. Nice one! Oh yeah, nice pano crop too!

I like the composition and the focus point. Also like the bright spots under the water drops.
Not sure but could try to clone out the oof drops on the lower petal edge...just a thought.

Hi Chris - for my personal tastes - a bit more DOF - my eye seems to have trouble finding something to lock onto - a little more sharpness in the water drops would probably help.
    Good job on the yellows.

    Hi Christopher,
I like the capture, you did well with the yellows...would suggest stopping down on your f/ stop and increasing your ISO factor in order to get more depth of field...the overall image is a tad soft and your mid-tones need to be adjusted just a tad...looking forward to your next one...

Love the idea, love the colors, and love the drops. Think I agree that more DOF would make this image more pleasing.

Thanks everyone for the comments and suggestions. Frequently I get stuck in always shooting with a wide aperture and forgetting to experiment more with the DOF. Thanks for the reminder that sometimes more DOF is better. I'll try to remember it next time! :)

Agree with the comments as made. The sharpness of the drops on the petal would not be lost with increasing the DOF - look forward to seeing some more.

Interesting and a good eye for composition Not sure if you had an alternative angle to keep the overlaping leaf from showing? Do like it a lot as presented !!! Excellent !!!
