Really cute. I like the way his head is lying on the ground. I would consider darkening the FG in fron of his nose.

Precious. I would like to have seen a bit more room above the animal and a bit less dirt below.

I really like the serene mood in this one. The soft light, pose and grass in the BG add to it. I agree with Artie and would extend the canvas at the top a bit.

Great capture of an animal which is rarely seen in this open a circumstance. Do you think he would have had his head down on grass rather than soil?

Not 'just' a hedgehog - these critters are fast disappearing from the european landscape and very shy. Great sighting! thanks for sharing.

    Hi Milan,
I'm going with Artie on this one......even though I like tight crops......a bit more (not much) above would do the trick. Very nicely exposed too!

wow! Milan a rare catch indeed. Agree with the suggestion made on the crop. Going to a lower angle would have helped.

Thank you all. Agree for more room above but I was on the edge with the forest. If I add more, trees will be visible. Lower angle was not possible, I and camera was on the ground:)

Nice job holding the dark tones on the head & nose. The entire head is in focus, tough to do sometimes.

Is this animal in the wild? Is it resting or doing some sort of display?

Thanks again. I found them on the edge of the forest, so its wild of course (as all my wildlife photos;)) Hedgehog was moving arround and I just wait for him in the right place:)
