Another subject from my visit to the Monte Casino Bird Gardens in Johannesburg. Taken two years ago. These Macaw's have such amazing colours.

Nice profile. Good detail in the yellows and nice sharpness. I'd like to see a little taken off the right of the frame.

Wonderful details in this one. I agree with the suggestion to crop, just a little, from right.

    Good Shooting!

Thanks a lot guys. Im going to be honest here, I actually added a bit to the right before posting. It seems I should have left it. In taking off the RHS, I decided to take a little off the top too.

I especially love the hints of pink on his skin. Very sharp and great detail and eye contact. I don't mind the comp as is. Congrats

Beautiful colors, good sharpness and BG. The repost looks better in my opinion.

Hey bro! Killer colors. I am not sure about the HA as it makes the head look flat and wide and perhaps it was doing something that made it look so elongated, which it isn't really. If you know what I mean. I like your repost but would probably take more off from the RHS with that too. :) I love the details in the facial skin. Do you have more shots? I'd love to see!
    Thanks for sharing.

This has so much detail Stu, and super colour, nice capture. The repost does look better, I see adding canvas has become too easy.:);)
