    From today on Machias Seal Island, Canada - 1250 exposures in 3 hours! 1dmk3on 500 f4 hand held at 1/2000, f7.1, iso400, manual exp. - Bob

    Interesting comp, I think it could be further improved by taking a bit off the bottom?
    The eye head and bill looks a tad soft and could do with a touch more sharpening IMHO.(could be my old eyes)
    Well done on the hand holding, your arms must have been a bit sore after the 3 hours?

    Well done on the comp, but agree with Dave that the head is a bit soft. Also HA is not ideal. THis could be a killer with the better HA and pin sharpness! :) Thanks for sharing.

    I like the closeup and open bill. Is this bird nesting on Machias? I haven't seen any on the island when I was there.

    Axel the Terns did nest on msi but for reasons unknow abondened. They are back or some from further north are moving south.
