It's Musikfest time in Bethlehem, PA - 10 days and nights of any type of music you can think of, any type of food you can think of and loads of beer and other libations (if you can afford the price). Most of the music spread across something like eight venues is free while there is a charge for bigger "name" entertainers at a couple of venues.

Saturday night we ventured to Volksplatz where music was provided by an Aussie/Celtic group of brothers called "Brother". When the music is coming from a bagpipe, a didgeridoo (corrected spelling courtesy of Akos) and drums, I felt I needed more than just a straight photo. So I started processing this image in Lightroom where I cropped it, cleaned it up a bit before dumping it into CS4. My first step there was to use Topaz Adjust starting with the psychedelic preset and making adjustments from there. This is what I came up with.

Original image made with Canon 30D and 70-200mm f/2.8L IS lens, handheld.

    1/25 sec @ f/5.6; ISO 1250; -1/3 EV; FL 70mm

Hi Ed, Interesting use of filters and caught the musicians at a good moment.I would have preferred not quite so large a head in the foreground but realise it wasn't an easy place to shoot.

Ed, This has a cool vibe to it. I like the use of the filter and think you have a real nice look. Dave makes a good point about the one lg. head.;)

I knew that was a DIDGERIDOO (note spelling ;) ) straight away! I was thinking what? :)

Nice rendering of this scene Ed. I like the "almost hand-drawn" feel.

They had several didges of different lengths.

There is an online radio station dedicated to didge music called DidgHeadRadio! I have it on iTunes.
