    Default Fulvous Duck

This is full frame. I managed to capture him before he came within my minimum focussing distance. I like the landing posture, with the curved wings. I would have liked more DOF, but as he came so close, I lost out here. Added a bit of canvas on the left. Taken in Pretoria a few weekends ago.

Very sweet light, Stuart, he's just coming out of the water, you can see the drops. Very good timing on your part, difficult to go lighter because of the red channel getting blown because of the warm light. I like the peek-a-boo toes :)

Lovely exposure and excellent eye contact. The warm light really adds impact to the ducks already warm colors. Wing position is awesome and I agree with your critique about DOF. Congrats.

Focus is spot on and excellent timing. It looks like soft light but hard for me to tell from camera settings. Very well done. Dave

Nailed this one Stuart!. Lovely light on this with good details. The toes, as Fabs mentioned, are a nice touch.

I like the light, topside view, sharpness and exposure control. If it were mine I might give it a tad more room but it works as presented.

Excellent work bro. Love the added canvas, it's freakin' seamless! Very nice pose, you already noted lack of DOF. Not an issue for me. It's sharp where it has to be sharp! :)
