That's one great gull, great to see the species. The light is unreal, I love it and the dusky feel.
The food item adds a lot to the image too. There's overall mood to this image that I find very
    nice.

The mood, light and setting make this one for me. I also like the food item and eye contact.

Beautiful all round image. Don't you just love those last rays of light. Love the red bill with the red around the eye to match. Only wish the head was turned toward you maybe 1/2 a degree. Congrats.

Excellent composition, Fabs. Love that light, colors and low angle. The eye contact and the food item makes it so much more interesting.

    Hi Fabs

You capture another superb gull image in some wonderful late light. In fact you last one inspire me so much I headed out a couple of days to have some fun with our local gulls. I am not sure about the food item as it looks like a bean rather than the usual gull food. In addition, on my monitor there also seem to be a bit of dark line along the edge of the bird, particularly just below the front of the neck.

    Cheers

    Rich

Wow Fabs, what a fantastic image of this species! I've not seen one (yet), but can only hope to have this kind of light and angle when I do :)
