Tried this back lit begonia leaf.

The placement and back lighting are very nice. I agree with a boost in the red. I wonder what the grey color is below the stem, it was a bit distracting to me.

Ovidiu,I think you did a great job on this.I like how the veins fan out and the stem placement is very good. IMO the color is very rich and doesn't need an increase in sat. I would take out the small gray area by the stem.

I like this very much, but I feel it need a bit more at the bottom, like a half an inch, for a more balanced rule of thirds placement. Well seen!

I really like this. It has a very abstract look to it and the colors are awesome!!

    Hi Ovidiu,
I like the capture and composition, the color rendition is very good, I like the texture and the placement of your flower in frame...

Thank you all for comments and suggestions.
I was trying to fill the entire frame with the leaf only. Agree that ROT would lead to a better composition but would also bring the leaf edge visible at bottom of the frame. A small part is still there, the grey area by the stem.
    Removed the grey area:

This is certainly a very eye catching shot.I love the movement of the veins outward and then is repeated again with the red flecks on the veins. Agree with having a bit more on the bottom but as is ....its terrific!
