Hi Leslie Love the interaction Got both sharp and image is well exposed Would only take some from the bottom since you don't need so much foreground I'm sure flat on the ground would have made an even stronger image but sure was not an option !!! I like it a lot !!!

I like the interaction and mood in this one and agree regarding cropping some off the bottom. A super-low angle would have made it even stronger.

Lower angle and better head angle(s) would have put this over the top! I love the interaction, not something you see everyday coming from the rail family. I also like the young's plumage in full transition, very cool. I would likely clone out the small twig touching the adult's chest.

Lovely interaction, and both are pin sharp. Another vote for cropping off the bottom.

Nice interaction captured, agree with bottom cropping to make this more striking.

thanks for the comments, most of you (actually all :-) would like to see less foreground, so that would make it a panorama or does it also need some room extra at the top???

I also agree that a lower angle would have made it better, unfortunately I couldn't get lower because of the plants in front of me, that's also the reason why I left some extra room in the foreground to simulate a lower point of view.

    kind regards Lesley
