    Milan,

I dont know if you had an opportunity to lower your tripod or not. If possible I would have gone lower to put the subject on even green background. Would love to see a tight head shot if you have one.

The colors and eye contact make this one for me. I would crop a bit off the top to make it a pano crop.

Great eye and great color. I agree about cropping from the top.

Really like the color and the detail in the lizard. Like the color of the background as well.

Wonderful eye contact and colors. I like the composition but would crop a little from the top as the others already mentioned.

Killer colors Milan. I agree with Axel about pano crop. Was thinking the same yesterday when I saw your thumbnail. Well done mate. :)

    Hey Milan,
I'm with Axel on the pano crop......will further emphasize the lizard. I like the way you included the entire paw. You may want to try an Art Morris eye DR. fix and lighten the eye just a bit......to further strengthen the eye contact.....but still a nice portrait either way.

Thanks for all comments and sugestions. Yes, look like that I should crop it from the top. For the pano.. next time on the field, original photo;)

    Hi Milan,
In the re-post I did crop.....but I applaud your efforts to get it right in the field. For the eye.......I blew it up to 500% using the magnifying tool.......then I grab the lasso tool....circle the eye carefully.....then using levels ; Layer>new adjustment layer>levels (you could also uses curves, Brightness contrast .....whatever you are comfortable with...)....white (right) slider to about 220....black (left) to 2.......sometimes you need to blur the layer mask......in this case I was pretty good with the selection so it looked OK. I tried to do it pretty agressively to show a difference....you can do less. Hope this helps.
PS I did 1 level of sharpening also

The colours and details are just fabulous Milan. I like Roman's re-post. Would love to see a full body shot of this lizard.
