Brooks Falls.........one got away. With all the images and possibilities tried to convey the sense of the falls more and what the salmon must go through. Quite the spectacle.

Same comment as on the previous one. Fishes way sharp--bear looks suspect. Lack of detail and soft. Have you been (over-) lightening the bear?

Here's the original unprocessed tiff...only cropped and converted. Looks sharp w/ BB magnifyinf glass. Maybe the levels lightening is making it look funky?......or tone down the red?

    Roman,

Again, brown bear from Brook's has super timing, exposure, etc....but the image lacks detail and something is definitely wrong with post processing appearence. It may be too much Recovery slider, as this will give a similar pastey look?

    On repost...original image looks soft!

    Best,

    Chas

Great timing! I would put the bear a bit lower in the frame and sharpen it more.

A different take on a classic image - the one that got away! I agree the bear looks a tad soft but I like it anyway.

Great action. Like the fact you have two salmon jumping out of the water.

I agree with the comments - your original looks sharp enough though - must've been picked up in PP.
great shot and timing! I would chop off some space at the bottom and add some to the right.
