    Default Very funny!

They looked as if they were laughing about a joke. In reality this was their little greeting ceremony after one of the birds just arrived. :) The image is pretty much full frame.

Axel, This is really nice and I can appreciate it even more knowing how difficult these guys are to expose for especially when you have limited control on the environment and BG. I like their poses and the composition. The blue BG really adds alot. Well done.

Man, how close can they get without actually touching! :-) An all around appealing image Axel.

    Axel,

Great behavior shot and I like your caption. This is full frame w/300mm? How close do these birds let you come before they become alarmed?

Thanks, Erich! On Machias Island you have to stay in a little wooden blind and the birds are right in front of you or even walk around on the roof of the blind, which sounds pretty funny. :)

    Hi Axel
perfect exposure. Love the copmposition and yes, the blue BG is killer :) Lucky your blind has a roof, or you'd have some whitewash to clone from your head. :D

    Axel:
Excellent techs as mentioned, the pose is a killer. I would think this image has serious commercial potential, it makes me laugh.

Made me think of two stand up comedians doing a routine.

    Cheers

Very nice behaviour captured. Tough exposure condition handled very well.
I would have liked some more space at the top.

I like everything about it Axel and the exposure is excellent given the intensity of the light.

I really need to get my butt up there one of these days!

Cool shot Axel. The interaction makes this one for me! Like the BG and the poses a lot! The light keeps being a bit unfortunate but you have dealt with it very nicely here yet again! Well done!
