Made this under very low light. Very difficult subjects to get close up. I thank the Lord and the Eagle for letting me enjoy this beauty close up.

And what a stare!!! Kiran, I like the comp, well exposed, and really sharp. Super BG too. If I had to change anything, I would maybe darken the BG very slightly. Still, congrats on a fine image.

I like the stare, angle, soft light, composition and BG. The image looks a bit oversharpened which could be partially due to the high ISO. I would work on the eyes and remove the horizontal bright lines in the pupils.

Good symmetry with the stare. I like the complementary colours and tones in the BG and plumage that highlight the eyes. You've done well with the DOF to keep everything sharp. I agree with Axel's suggestion regarding a touch of selective eye work. Well done.

Love the stare! Great close up. I won't comment on the sharpening, as I am really messing up my pictures on the sharpening front. Personally, I would leave the eyes as they are.

Well done from all aspects. The stare is quite mesmerizing...such glowing yellows (were the yellows "boosted" in PS?) Getting rid of the horizontal lines in the eyes is subjective, but I would do it. P.S. I don't consider 1/640s at ISO 800 very low light ;-)

Thank you all dear people for all the suggestion: I have made the changes as suggested kindly let me know.

@ stuart: I have darkened the BG. see if it is ok.

@Axel, Tony and Daniel: I have reduced the sharpeness and touched up the Eye. kindly comment.

@ Daniel: Sorry, I meant to say less light beacuse of no catch light.

Thanks again, you all are a great help.

    Regards,

    Kiran.

I like everything about it and there is only one thing which I'd change......

I might level between the nostrils of the center of the pupils just to straighten it out a hair with CW rotation.

I do agree with Axel about the one vertical light shaft on the right eye.

Amazing Kiran. The sharpness and clarity you bring out in your images is just fantastic.

The repost looks much better, I would only remove the vertical bright line in the bird's right eye.
