    Default Little river

This little river was along a road in france. I was standing in the water and used a tripod and self-timer.

I guess that lower angle will be even better.

    Hi Thijs,

Looks like you were working on getting that moving water effect and that works well - it would help to know what the technical details were in order to suggest what to do there.

Your choice of subject made it pretty difficult for you - all those twigs and stuff make the image very busy and difficult to get a good composition. And as Milan said, maybe a slightly lower angle would help.

    Keep them coming!

I like the overall feel I'm getting the same sensation of a landscape with the horizon in the middle of the frame, not sure if I'm explaining myself? ... do think the lower angle would look better since it would shift the balance !!! Excellent !!!

    Hi Thijs,
I agree on a much lower capture angle and would like to see the rock to the left side of the frame..I do like the soft cloudy feel of the water...

Thanks for the comments guy's! i could't get that much lower, because then the water came to my lens (and i dont want that :p!)It is a crop, in the original picture there is some air visibile, maybe that got to do something with Alfred says?
This is the exif: f25, exposure time 1.6'', iso 100. I wanted some lower shutterspeed but it was not possible.

    Hi Thijs
Like the cloudy looking water on the lower right. Need to really make sure the scene is clean with as few distractors as possible. Also getting close to some nice foreground with a wide angle is another suggestion for this kind of shot. Looking forward to seeing more!
