I've forgotten what filters I used to get this effect - I think a gradient filter, then dry brush and texturizer and
    heaven knows what else:eek:

    Suggestions and comments appreciated:)

Cheryl, This is a very unique look! It looks a bit embossed also. I like the faint bluish greens in the foliage and the BG texture is nice. Good work and very creative!!

Intersting composition, Cheryl. I like the embossed effect. B&W may be another option.

Very interesting effects, Cheryl. I agree that B&W might work, too.

love th base image and the embossing is quite interesting Cheryl.

I am not offering this as a suggestion or option, but it's just me playing
on a lazy sunday morning. I had this sort of tropical vision when I
first opened this thread. Thanks for letting me play.

A few threshold layers and gradients blended

Hi Cheryl, Good comp and agree with Denise that it looks embossed. Dave gave it a whole different look which is very strong.

Thanks guys and gals. I had also used DAP on this image which I'll post tomorrow. I haven't had time to sit
and figure out all the options in DAP yet but I love what everyone is doing with it.

Dave, I like the Margaitaville look! I'll also try B&W.
