    ISO 800, f/5.6 @ 1/400, Av, Auto Exposure, -1EV, crop off bottom, NR

    This was taken at the main empoundment, a very large and shallow man-made bird wading pool, if you will.
    All comments are welcome and much appreciated.

    Hey Ron, Nice blastoff!! I like the graduated color of the sky and the lessening of birds from the bottom to the top. I also like how you minimalized the water. Good job!

    Ron,

    I like this as presented. It tells a story and the colors seem natural. You did not mention any post production in the narrative, nice job keeping it real. I love habitat nature shots and this is a good one for sure.

    Print this baby in color and hang it.

    Hi Ron....I really like this image...it really looks like an explosion upward of birds. I agree with Jeff....print this one big and hang it with pride. Love it!

    Very effective use of a short focal length to give depth to the picture. The colors, composition, and action are all great.

    A real beauty Ron !!! Gutsy having such a short lens since there is no telling what those birds will do !!!

    Love these pre dawn take offs and right over your head !!! Birds were kind to you and pretty good spacing !!! Big Congrats !!!
