    Ed, I like your composition choice on this one. Might consider cropping or cloning out the small partial flower at the bottom of the frame. I also think the lighting is just a bit harsh. What time of day did you take this at? And did you use flash (I don't see that listed on the equipment used.)

    No flash.

    The entire flower was covered with tiny beads of dew but I don't think that should contribute to the light appearing harsh.

    I find yellows challenging to photograph. I also find dew covered flowers challenging. You combined the two in this image. I think you did a good job. Would a polarizer eliminate thosse little white dots caused by dew drops?
