    Coyote in winter, Yellowstone.
    With the unbearable heat we have been having here I thought about how nice a little of this weather would be.

    D300, 400 2.8 w/1.4tc, f4, 1/4000, iso400, man exp.

    Thanks for looking, comments and critiques appreciated.

    Love the way this pops Todd. Soft lighting suits this and the contrast handled very well.

    lovely exposure, pose and head-turn Todd. even though the BG is uniformly white, I like the DOF created by the OOF twigs in front and behind.

    We are never happy with the weather. Excellent control with the exposure, and the coyote stands out so well against the snow. Super pose, and I like the hint of the OOF plants in the snow BG.

    Hi Todd,
    Very nicely handled on the exposure. The snow and twigs do add to the sense of depth. I may only get rid of the one directly above the coyote 's tail ( only if you are comfortable with that) but it isn't enough of a distraction to take away from a very nice image.

    Great dtail in the snow and the coyote. Like how he is looking over his shoulder.
