Assignment Niight Shot

This is downtown Mississauga, Ontario. The corner of City Center Drive and Duke of York Blvd.
The Burnhamthorpe 26 bus has just picked up a passenger from the stop and is pulling away.
I love the 18 point stars from some of the lights through the 9 blades of the lens.

Nikon D200, 20 to 35 mm AF D lens, tripod, cable release.
ISO 100, 10sec., F/11, 20mm.
Slightly straightened, adjusted size and converted to JPG.

You can post larger - will look better at the max size.

Long exposures sure make these night images Good composition and well exposed Agree with Lance on presenting larger if possible !!!! Neat .. lots of detail inside the bus !!!!

I like the composition, image and capture...I like the streaked lines of the traffic with good use of a slow shutter speed...agree with Mr. Peters on posting at a higher resolution...looking forward to your next one...:cool:

I like Lance's idea of a ghost bus. It does have an ethereal quality to it.
I have the image sizing problem fixed. I became a member so I can upload to the site.:)
Just to test it I am adding a earlier image that has the women waiting in the bus shelter and another person standing at the corner across the street. It was still a ten second exposure.
