Hi Dan, Very nice image. To my eye the image looked better when the lower reflected fish was taken out.
You mentioned an illustrated goldfish. Is that your image?

another vote for going without the very bottom head reflection....a nice one Dan.
Might soften/blend the horizontal center line just a bit

Pretty cool Dan. I like the colors and the flood effect! I agree about the bit of reflection but I think it's cool that it looks like a little fish!

Yes, this is my pet goldfish (was:(, he's deceased:() shot with a D200 and a multi-flash setup. I then illustrated the image using the free version of Dave Seeram's illustration action. I debated with myself about the little fishy reflection and in honor of OOTB, I chose to leave him.

Dan, another vote for the taking out the little fella at the bottom. He was a very pretty fish. And I love the
    image with the flood effect:)

Excellent! You did well with Flood, as well. Getting the horizon line right can be tricky. You noticed that big downtime as well? I thought it was just me. regards~Bill

Here is a repost, removing the little guy as recommended. I went back and re-illustrated the image using Topaz clean, re-applying the flood and pulling the water line around a bit with liquify to give it a "disturbed" look! C&C welcome.

Dan, for my taste I much prefer the repost.
One of my fav elements of both is the way the dorsal blends in with bg

What a fun image, Dan! The repost is even better, and I also like the way the dorsal fin merges with the bg.

Great work Dan, the black really sets off the fish. Like both posts, but I think the first with the small fish makes it more OOTB. Great lighting on this one.

Very nice, Dan. Like the strong contrast and the flood reflection. Repost is a definite improvement, though I do kind of like the little fish in the first one.
