Lovely bird and image. Perfect head angle, EXP, and SH. Sweet light. Red cast removed with 40% Average Blur Color Balance. Crop and rock clean-up.

Great bird and image,
at first I didn't notice the cast, I checked the color of the bird in
the Mullarney et al Princeton field guide and I'm afraid Artie is right
Great method for fixing casts, I need to try it sometime.
Good-looking specimen, I'm not sure I have seen this species before. I like the angle light, sharpness and BG. Judging from the catchlight I assume this is very early light. I might lighten the eye a bit and remove the white spots on the perch.
Thank you all,
Artie, thank you,
If I would photograph the bird in midday your suggestion is very close to what it will look like,
The only but is, that the male color will be more saturated
This was taken very early in the day, something like 20-40 min' after sunrise.
So the color are warmer (more yellow and red),
After looking at your suggestion, I can see a cast but I think that the dominate color is yellow.
a bigger crop ~ 80% of the original
PS color balance:
Cyan - Red : -10
yellow - Blue : +10
Cleaning up the perch / rock as well, Thank very much for that.
I'll be very happy to know what you think.

Good pose, detail and smooth ochre desert tones in the background.
Sweet light Gal, and certainly warm colours captured in this. This is sharp, and a killer BG too.
Sweet light , beautiful bird, nice exposure , HA and perch
TFS
Great repost Gal. I like your final version best by far.
