    Shot in Whitewater mgmt area SE MN.
    I personally love the reflections below incontrast to
    the waves above the birds. Now I wonder what you
    think?
    40D, 400DO with 1.4xII, iso 250, F14, 1/1000 hand held.

    Love the comp. and reflections. I might rotate it a bit cc just to get the wave lines straight. Seems a bit contrasty as well , perhaps due to some tough lighting.

    I do like the warped and ondulating reflections below but I'm finding the black stripes above rather distracting. The light is harsh and contrasty - was this taken around the midday hours? The pelicans are swimming away, it would have been much preferable to have them swimming toward us, or at the very least parallel to us. Under those light conditions you did the best you could with the exposure, and using f/14 insured you had all three birds sharp.

    Good job getting all the birds in focus. It also seems too contrasty, but I do like their reflections in the water, one nice thing about those ripples.
