    From a couple of years ago one of my favorite macro images I think this was from Fairchild Gardens in Miami

    Now that made me giggle for some reason when I first saw it! Love the look on his face and the colors and DOF in this is superb! Alfred, how you can make bugs look so cute I will never understand. I also really like that back foot on the right side - wonderful!

    Love the image, Al! I think the best way to make bugs look interesting, even endearing, is to get the camera on their level which you certainly did here. Great colors and BG. Well done!

    The colours and bg is outstanding!
    And the curious look from the grasshopper works very well in the comp.

    One sweet image. I love the comp. although I might have taken a bit off the left , but just my taste. I don't think the space hurts the image at all. It's a "keeper" for sure.
