This was taken our first day in Katmai, Alaska and what a thrill it was for us to see this nursing brown bear with her two cubs. We were not far from hyper-ventilating !!!!!! The brown coastal bears are actually bigger than the inland brown bears or grizzlies. This was our only morning with sun and the flowers covering the grassy fields made a beautiful BG . This was truly a dream come true. I hope you will enjoy.

Another fantastic capture! I really like the feet of the mama bear sticking out from grass.

Sweet image. I would have liked some eye contact with the cubs, but their attention is obviously elsewhere!

What a beautiful capture! What time of year is this?
I could be wrong, but I feel like it could stand another round of sharpening.

You can really sense the bond between the cubs and the adult. Like the color and the low angle. What a great first day!
