Wonderful early morning light. I like the one footed balancing act on the tip of the perch and the fluffed up pose. Exposure and sharpness look good.

Lorant asked How do you like your new monitor?
I'm very pleased with it. It certainly overcomes the viewing angle issues apparent with most lcd monitors and the colour rendering and sharpness are very good. It is very bright so I took Roger Clark's advice to calibrate the brightness using a camera. It is now set on about 60% bightness, and I have calibrated it with a Spyder2Express device. Overall: Thoroughly Recommended, and about half the price of similar quality ips-type monitors.

Thanks Simon. I am looking for something as well. I am using my laptop that is 3 years old and went through a lot of traveling....not the most accurate monitor for photo viewing and editing. I will look into this model as well.

    Very nice photo once again.:-)

Simon, ditto what has been said. Love the fluffed up feathers. I might just add a little more room to the right of the bird. Beautiful species by the way, never seen one before. Congrats.

Sweet, sweet light Simon, which in turn has brought out the lovely warm colours. I like the sharp detail in this, and would maybe try and lighten the eye. Still, well captured.
