Another from Ireland hope you're not getting sick of it. I dialed in ISO 640 for something else right before these chicks posed for me like this and I had no time to dial in the ideal settings before the moment was over.

Love the interaction, HAs and the rim light! Can you bring the shadows up just a tad more?

    Hi David,
Thanks for the comments. I have actually tried to bring out the shadows a bit more and to my eye it messed up the contrast between the rimlight and darker parts of the chicks, which to me is the whole point of this shot. I'll repost a version like that a little later so you can check it out.

    Thanks again,

    Krijn

    Krijn:

I like the effect, and the soft clouds repeat the soft shapes of the chicks. I agree with David, my first thought was perhaps lighten the shadows, but I certainly can see how that would effect the mood/look you were after.

    Cheers

    Randy

    What a delight,
I would leave it as is.

While I love the rim light and the sky, I am really wanting to see either the detail on the shaded side or a complete silhouette. For me, this one is neither here nor there.

I like the backlight in this, and on my monitor, I see enough detail. Cool poses from the two chicks, and I like the softer light and colours in the BG.

I like the mood, poses, light, contrast and sharpness. I would only try to bring a little more detail into the chicks.
    Congratulaitons!

Thanks so much for all the comments people.

I thought I had this picture all figured out but your views made me think otherwise! :)

Beneath 2 pictures based on the suggestions.

Pic 1 with more detail in the chicks and rock

Pic 2 wit the two chicks and rock as a complete silhouette

Please tell me what you think!!

    Thanks

I personally don't think this works as the feet get lost in the black of the stone.......

I like the OP the most, on my monitor there's the right amount of details for this image.
The last post (silhouette) is my least favored.
