I like the landing posture, and what a pity you didnt capture the right wing extended as the left. Comp works well, and I would sharpen him a bit more. I would also darken the BG a tad too. His food a bonus.

I suspect the focus point was not on the face, as the wings and perch seem sharper than the eye.
Excellent pose and eye contact, looking at histogram it is overexposed a bit and the blacks are too bright, I'd bring it down by 0.7~1EV increase the contrast and redo the sharpening, there are some halos around the wings...
Well done, but with the harsher light this one does not have the magic of previous posts made from this killer situation. The framing here is excellent.
