    Default Lake Woodruff NWR Update

The sandhills are out in force. My sources up there are getting sunrise early a.m. shots right now between 40-50 of them. By 8:30am, they fly to the feeding fields.

So for those who can't make it to Bosque, here's a closer alternative.

This a great place to shoot but watch out for the Black Vultures! The last time we visited, the vultures inflicted $700 worth of damage to my Tahoe.
