lovely soft light captured here Brandon - Perhaps the camera lowered a little to give more space under the tail and a little cropped off the top would have improved composition. Cropping right side to just before the upper branch also strengthens the image for me.
I like the mood in this one even though the dove is well-camouflaged. I would put the bird a bit higher in the frame as the tail is very close to the edge.
I would suggest a crop from the left and the top and a bit more dof to sharpen up the branch coming at us. I too like the mood and the good job that you did with the head turn.

ps: John's suggestion to have pointed the camera down a bit is an excellent one; you would have been able to have the lower edge of the branch enter the frame from the corner...

Such a pretty composition with the falling snow and beautiful pose with a nice head turn. I too love the mood of this image and the suggested cropping would strengthen this already lovely image. Thanks for sharing Brandon,
